Education
I attended Grinnell College and earned a Bachelor's degree in May of 2010. Grinnell is a small, private liberal arts college in the urban metropolis of Grinnell, Iowa. Grinnell is about halfway between Des Moines and Iowa City, for those of you keeping geographic score.
While at Grinnell, I majored in English and took a lot of Art History. We should talk sometime about camp aesthetics in early Gothic literature.
After college, I moved to the Twin Cities and started working in communications and fundraising. In 2014, I earned a Master's degree in Strategic Communication from the University of Minnesota. Designed exclusively for working professionals, my program focused on the study of communications strategy, planning and evaluation, as well as persuasion and advertising theory. My capstone project explored relationship management strategies for millennial donors to higher education.
If you'd like to know more about my research or coursework, let me know.
